Hello everyone!

Plans are underway for the 2010 Illinois Angus Association Membership Directory. Every year, we tend to have a difficult time finding the perfect photo to grace the front cover. So, this year we would like to try something a bit different and have a photo contest for all Illinois members and Junior members. The Angus Topics staff will judge each photo and choose the one we feel is best suited for the 2010 Illinois Directory front cover. Deadline for entry is May 1, 2010.

Photo contest rules:
1. Contestants must be members of the Illinois Angus Association or Illinois Junior Angus Association.
2. All entries must be the original work of entrant.
3. All photos must be saved at a minimum of 300 dpi and sized to either a 5x7 inch or 8x10 inch. Entries can be emailed to karrie@angustopics.com, or mailed to (on CD or DVD) Angus Topics, Attn: Karrie Scott, P.O. Box 397, Carmi, IL 62821.
3. Photos must highlight Angus cattle, but may also include people or other animals interacting with Angus cattle, or scenic views of the farm or ranch. Make sure to give an explanation as to who/what is in each photo. More than one entry may be submitted.
4. Photos become the property of Angus Topics for use in publication and promotion. Each photo will be posted on the Angus Topics and Illinois Angus News websites for viewing.
5. Entries must be postmarked by the U.S. Postal Service by April 2, 2010.
